Ludhiana: The Calcutta pair of Asit Kundan and D. Bose annexed the Holkar Pairs trophy in the national bridge championship with 480.93 points.

Sumit Choksi and Subhash Gupta of Delhi were runners-up with a tally of 456.93. B.S. Pradhan and Balbir Singh of Orissa finished third with 449.50 points while Calcutta’s A.N. Banerjee and K.R. Venkatraman from Chennai were fourth with 444.75.
