New Delhi: Strange are the ways of the All India Football Federation (AIFF). On Tuesday, after Nicolai Adam submitted his resignation, the federation asked its outgoing technical director Scott O'Donell to act as the interim coach of the under-17 squad.

O'Donell, who started training the boys in Goa on Tuesday, will be there for only two days. He is supposed to leave for Australia on Thursday after attending the farewell dinner arranged by the AIFF.

"The training camp for the under-17 squad has started in Goa. Scott is being assisted by Richard Hood and former India coach Savio Medeira. But no one knows who would take O'Donell's place from Thursday," said a source in the AIFF.
