According to feng shui, colours have a significant effect on our lives and goodwill. Colours are considered to be very powerful, as they represent the expression of light or positive energy.
You need to use colours in an effective way if you want to prosper in your life without any huddles.
Feng shui helps you use the vibrant colours to get the maximum benefits out of it. The basic colour usage principle in feng shui includes the five-element colour cycle.
The five elements are wood, fire, earth, metal and water. These elements are believed to interact with each other to bring out productive or destructive results in your life. This feng shui tool may help you improve your life, career, hep gain wealth and so on. You should be careful enough while using these colours in your living room, bedroom, car, home exterior, and wardrobe and so on.
The following are the colour connect each of the five feng shui elements:
Wood: green, brown
Fire: red, strong yellow, orange, purple, pink
Earth: light yellow, sandy/earthy, light brown
Metal: white, gray
Water: blue, black
• The five-element colour cycle can also be implemented using two or more colours at a time.
•You can use these colours in different order for a constructive or a destructive purpose. As multiple colours can represent an element, the shades of a specific colour can also be used to derive the desired results.
•The feng shui element of south is fire and it can be represented by the colours such as red, purple, pink, strong yellow and orange.
•You can use green in the east, feng shui bagua area of your home to improve health and maintain harmony in your family.
• Blue can be used in the north bagua area for career growth, in the east bagua area for health and family benefits, and in the southwest bagua area for wealth.
• If you are willing to bring good time to you and your family, you may use strong yellow in the south feng shui bagua area. Use pure white in the west feng shui bagua area to help you creativity grow. Prior to using these colours at your home, you need to be sure about the light patterns coming into your home throughout the day.
• If you want to use only three or four colours in a creative or destructive cycle, you may begin with any of the five elements and colours. You need to make it sure whether you want to use it for creative or destructive purpose. However, both the cycles may prove beneficial for you.
• The creative cycle needs to be started from the bottom and the destructive cycle typically starts from the top. If you are using three colours, the middle colour should be created by the bottom colour and should feed the top colour.
• In a destructive cycle, the middle colour would be destroyed by the top colour and would destroy the bottom colour.
•If you are using three colours, you may decide on the middle colour first and use it as the predominant shade in a room or area. The other two colours may be used as accents.
