Berhampur, June 8: Police today arrested a cashew farm owner and a contract killer for murdering a journalist on May 27 in Khallikote.

The cops are looking for two other hired killers and claimed that the cashew farm owner had allegedly paid Rs 50,000 to the killers to get rid of the journalist.

The arrested persons are cashew farm owner P. Shyam Sundar Prusty and N. Ramesh Reddy, a contract killer, who owns a sound and light business in the city.

The deceased, Tarun Acharya, 31, was found dead by the road on May 27. Tarun had allegedly demanded money from Prusty and had written something against him in a local newspaper.
