Students of Bhubaneswar-based cultural institute Nrutyashala perform invocatory piece of Odissi Mangalacharan based on raga Pahadi Kalyan and Taal Ektaal at Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

The students put up a heart-warming spectacle of classical and folk dance performances on Sunday evening to mark their tenth annual day celebrations.

The cultural soiree named ‘Angikam’ was held at Rabindra Mandap.

After the mangalacharan, a group act was dedicated to Lord Shiva in which dancers portrayed the different avatars of the deity.

Following this was a performance dedicated to Goddess Durga.

Over 150 students of the institute between the age group of four to 25 took part in the celebrations.
