Equestrian cadets and the horses of the unit at the golden jubilee celebration of 1 (Odisha) R & V Squadron, NCC, at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology in Bhubaneswar on Friday. 
Inaugurating the ceremony, Governor S.C. Jamir said the National Cadet Corps embodied the values important for our nation’s unity. “The progress of the squadron in the past 50 years has been remarkable. As one looks back, it is amazing to learn how much it has progressed. It gained laurels, glories, honours and achievements at both personal and unit-level,”Jamir said. 
The NCC directorate made elaborate arrangements for special horse shows, air/naval show and cultural programmes to showcase motto of the Indian Army, NCC, and displayed the achievements of the unit made over the years.
