Actress Malavika Ray takes a picture of a film's poster at an exhibition in Bhubaneswar on Thursday when the Odia film fraternity celebrated 80 years of the industry by hosting a number of events. The culture department organised the film poster show - Chhaya Pratichhaya - along with a group of film enthusiasts and researchers at State Museum. Some 80 posters of Odia films from 1949 to 2000 were on display. The Odisha Cine Critic Association also celebrated the day as Sita Bibaha Divas. Film-makers Prashant Nanda and Sabyasachi Mohapatra felicitated artistes and film critics on the occasion. "The Odisha Film Development Corporation should encourage young film-makers to ensure a better future for the film industry," said veteran film critic Parikshit Jena.
