Bhubaneswar, Aug. 4: Eminent Bollywood sound engineer Subash Sahoo, a two time National Award winner for Omkara and Kaminey, has been chosen as one of the jury members for the panel that will choose an Indian film for the foreign language category of the Academy Awards.

Sahoo, who hails from Kendrapada, is thrilled about this role.

“It is a great honour for me to be involved in selecting a nomination of an Indian film for the Oscars. As I am an avid film viewer and have been involved with numerous films so far, I’m excited about this experience,” said the Mumbai-based sound engineer over the telephone.
