Bhubaneswar: The technical education department has sought an explanation from Regional College of Management director Prabir Pal about sexual harassment charges brought forth by his former employee. It has also asked if the college had an internal complaint committee for disposing of such complaints. Pal pleaded not guilty and said it was a conspiracy by his rivals to malign his image. Bhubaneswar: The State Information Commission turned down a petition to bring BJD under the purview of Right to Information Act and declined to construe the regional party as public authority. Bhubaneswar: The state government has constituted an apex committee for Joint Entrance Examination-2014 to be headed by VSS University of Technology-Burla vice-chancellor B.K. Nanda.
