Bhubaneswar: The state vigilance on Wedn-esday registered a case against former DGP Prakash Mishra, who is now the special secretary, internal security at the Centre. he case relates to a Rs 59-crore contract awarded by Odisha State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation Limited for purchase of iron rods and cement when Mishra was the head of the corporation between 2006 and 2009. Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Human Rights Commission has directed the SC/ST development department to submit a report within four weeks on the non-implementation of free and compulsory education in residential schools managed by the department.
