Paradip: Police arrested a gang of four members of an extortion racket from Balijhara slum colony on the outskirts of the port town on Wednesday. The arrested were Biswa Ranjan Parida, Sanjay Sahu, Sushant Behera and Ajit Kumar Rout.
Berhampur: Santosh Nayak, a worker of a drinking water packaging factory, committed suicide on Wednesday by hanging himself from the ceiling fan inside the factory storeroom at Palur Bungalow in BNPur police station area.
