Training centre

Bhubaneswar: The foundation stone of an incubation and skill development centre was laid in the Utkal University on Wednesday. The university aims to start the centre by April next year to train budding entrepreneurs in all sectors to set up socially relevant start-ups. Nalco will fund the centre, which will be built at an estimated cost of Rs1.75 crore.   

Sports push

Bhubaneswar: Students from schools, colleges and universities can take advantage of the warm-up stadium of the Kalinga Stadium. The Odisha government is planning to encourage educational institutions, which do not have their own tracks and grounds the use of the facilities of the stadium.

Suicide

Puri: Police said a boy and a girl committed suicide at Gundalaba village in Astaranga police limits in Puri district on Wednesday. According to reports, they hanged themselves inside a room. Police seized the bodies and started an investigation.
