Eatery raid 

Sambalpur:war: The district administration on Thursday sealed a restaurant near the Laxmi Talkies after it failed to produce a proper food license, trade license and labour license. The district administration has also issued a notice to the owner of the restaurant asking him to pay Rs 5 lakh fine.

Smart cabs

Bhubaneswar: Ola (formerly Olacabs), India’s leading mobile app for Intermediate Public Transportation (IPT), announced the launch of their services in Bhubaneswar on Thursday. Users in Bhubaneswar will now have access to the large network of cars to travel within the city. They will be able to book a cab at a click of a button and track its location in real time. Customers can also book a cab by logging on to the Ola website or by calling 0674-3355335.

Accident 

Baripada: Three persons, including the driver of a SUV died in a road accident on Thursday on the NH 18, at the stretch connecting Balasore and Baripada The deceased have been identified as Nigamananda Satpathy, 40, from Balasore, Shivshankar Kanda, 38, from Baripada and Bishnu Matari, 24, from Assam.

Murder

Bhubaneswar: A 25-year-old man was allegedly killed over an illicit affair at the CRPF campus in Nayapalli on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Braja Kishore Parmanik, a labourer. Jagyan Bandara, 37, allegedly murdered him in the wee hours of the morning.
