Plus Two science
Bhubaneswar: Newly indicated school and mass education minister Badri Narayan Patra will declare results of the Plus Two science examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education on Friday at 11.00am at the council’s office here. Students can check their results at chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in. Around 91,740 students had taken the exam.
Body found
Berhampur: Police recovered the body of a woman hanging from a tree at Tantisahi in Ganjam district. The deceased was identified as Santoshi Sambari. The police have sent the body for post-mortem and detained her husband, Jagannath, for interrogation. Sources said Santoshi married Jagannath four years ago. The couple have a three-year-old daughter.
Two dead
Balangir: A mentally challenged person allegedly hacked his wife to death with an axe before hanging himself in his house on Wednesday at Changharia village within Larambha police limits in Balangir district. The body of Sukanath Bariha was found hanging while that of his wife, Gitanjali, was found in their bedroom, police said.
Vigilance raid
Boudh: Vigilance on Thursday raided Boudh district’s Manupali panchayat executive officer Narendra Prasad Kheti on the charges of acquiring disproportionate assets. The sleuths conducted simultaneous search operations at two places, his house at Santinagarpada in Sonepur district and his ancestral home in Boudh district.
