I am happy to share that I have been selected in the probable list for India's Under-16 girls’ football team. Besides me, there are three more players from Odisha who have been selected and we will attend the National under-16 camp for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup Under-16 Girls’ Championship in 2017. The camp will be held at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) training centre in Patiala, Punjab, from July 22.
Earlier, I have represented India in the Asian Under-14 Girls’ Football Championship that was held in Kathamandu, Nepal, from April 20 to 24.
I have also been fortunate to represent Odisha in the Junior National Girls' Football Championship 2015 that was held in Goa from October 5 to 21 last year. Odisha was the runners-up in that championship. This apart, I have taken part in the Sub-junior National Football Championship 2014-15 held in Cuttack.
I would like to thank my parents and y teachers at KISS who have helped me reach this far. I have learnt in life that there is no substitute for hard work and will keep giving my best to earn name and recognition for my state as well as my country. I also realise the importance of good education and will strive for success in my academic endeavours also.
