Balasore, March 21: Pressure is mounting on Odisha police’s human rights cell to arrest former minister Raghunath Mohanty and his family members.

The court had rejected his plea to quash an FIR lodged by Mohanty’s daughter-in-law Barsa Swony Choudhary.

The bail petition of Barsa’s husband Raja Shree Mohanty was also rejected by the sessions court in Balasore today. Raja Shree is now in judicial remand for 14 days.

DSP Subal Kar said: “Mohanty is left with few legal options... We will certainly arrest him.”
