Cuttack: Police on Wednesday busted a racket that stole medicines from a pharmaceutical company warehouse at Pratapnagari.

Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Chinmaya Pathola, 24, and Subrata Mohanty, 29, and Swarup Nayak, 21, all residents of Dharmasala in Jajpur, and charged them under various sections of the IPC.

Cuttack deputy commissioner of police Akhileswar Singh said Nayak worked as a security guard at the company's warehouse. "The key to the godown was kept with the security personnel. Nayak used it to steal the medicines."
