Bhubaneswar, Aug. 23: Actors Sabyasachi and Archita the hit on screen pair is all set to entertain the audience once again and this time it’s for a triangular love story. The film that has been titled Tora Mora Jodi Sundara, released its music on Sunday at a city hotel.
In the starry evening, the team behind the film shared their experiences of making the film on stage.
Congratulating the lyricists’ music director Shantiraj Khosla said, “They have created the perfect mood through the songs that suit the script of the film”.
Bijay Malla, Subodh Pattnaik, Arun Mantri, Panchanan Nayak, Basantraj Samal and Jatindra Pradhan have penned down the songs.
The eight songs in the film are based on myriad moods. One finds fusion of romantic songs as well as item numbers in the audio.
Popular singers from Orissa as well as Bollywood have sung the songs in the soon-to-be-released film.
While Udit Narayan and Ira Mohanty have crooned the title track, the solo romantic number pabana maguchi has been sung by the singer Sadhana Sargam. Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan have sung an enjoyable duet, tu chhuin delu.
Sanghamitra Jena has lent her voice for a sizzling and peppy item number badnamia jhia.
“I had worked with the singers from Mumbai earlier. But so many senior artists from Bollywood had never sung together for Oriya films before. All the songs were recorded in Mumbai,” said music director Khosla.
The actors too seemed thrilled having lip-synched the songs.
“I’m really excited to see the final output where Sadhana Sargam’s song has been featured on me,” said the Bong beauty Arpita, who plays one of the leads in the film.
The film has been created under the banner of Darubramha productions. Managing director Rudra Mohanty, producer Adhiraj Panigrahi, director Debu Pattnaik and creative director Jitu Mangaraj unanimously said the locations for songs as well as the music are the unique selling points of the film.
The songs have been shot at exotic locations like the snow-covered hills of Manali and the rock garden of Punjab. Tora Mora Jodi Sundara will see Archita playing a mute girl. The film is set to release in the coming week.
