Bhubaneswar: The 2018 JEE Main result was declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its official website on Monday. Only the JEE Main paper I result is out.
A total of 44,488 candidates from Odisha had registered for the JEE this year. Of them, 36,299 had appeared the exam in offline mode while 7,989 took it in online mode on April 15 and 16.
Around 45,000 students from the state took the JEE Main last year out of which only about 2,700 had students qualified for the advanced round.
Only 7.88 per cent of the students who sat for the examination from Odisha qualified for the advanced examination in 2016.
