Students take Class X test at an exam centre on Thursday. The examination conducted by the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) began with Hindi paper. 

Around 5,000 students from 83 schools in the state are taking the exam. The three-hour exam began at 11am. Students were given 15 minutes to read the question paper. In some schools, however, the question papers were distributed to the candidates at 10:45am so that they can start writing the paper at 11am.
