Bhubaneswar, April 24: Odisha's popular music band Vighnanz launched a teaser of their latest musical video here recently.

The video - Saajna...Every love story is beautiful - is a romantic Odia track based on a man's love and passion for his beloved.

For the first time the video brings together Sambeet Acharya and Sambhabana Mohanty, who are known names in the Odia film industry.

The duo will perform under the choreography of Girish Mohanty and the cinematography of Rabindra Behera and Basudev Dalai.

Lyricist Arun Mantri, who has penned numerous hits for the Odia industry, has written the lyrics for the track that has been composed and sung by lead performer of the band G. Durga.

"Coming up with new ideas and giving something very hatke (unique) to my viewers was my goal. So, I have given my heart to bring out something very different and we are hoping that people will love it," she said.

The album is backed by music label Amara Muzik, which will make the presence of the song felt across all digital platforms such as Gaana, Saavn, Wwynk, Jio, iTunes and YouTube.

" Saajna is a wonderful story and will also mark our debut in the single album category," said Dharitri Moharana of Amara Muzik.

On the eve of Independence Day last year, the band launched "Vande Mataram", a Hindi music video to instil a sense of patriotism amongst youths.

Vighnanz comprises six members - Durga (lead vocalist), Anup (lead guitar), Hrishi (bass guitar), Zubin (drum), Christo (keyboard) and Krushna (percussion).

The music video - "Vande Mataram" - was well appreciated by the audience.

"The music video was dedicated to all those Indians who have done our country proud. "Vande Mataram" was a humble gesture from our band to celebrate the unity and oneness we share with one another despite belonging to various religions and following different cultures. We hope this video will also get a similar response," said Durga.
