The countdown has begun with rath yatra being only 31 days (July 18) away. Nearly 50 lakh people are expected to throng Puri to witness the Nabakalebar festival this year. While the state government and the Nabakalebara Infrastructure Committee chairman Maheswar Mohanty hope that all the ongoing projects will meet their deadlines, the ground reality tells a different story. Puri residents have expressed concern over the slow pace and quality of work of the ongoing projects.
