The police had formed two teams to conduct the probe into the killing of Nirjara Behera, whose body was found under mysterious circumstances near Birupa bridge on Monday morning.

The formation of the two teams were necessitated as the deceased was a resident of Kapileswar in Choudwar police station area and his body was found near Birupa bridge which falls in Jagatpur police station limits,

Two assistant sub-inspectors from the two police stations are leading the team, while assistant police commissioner Trinath Mishra is monitoring the probe.

However, deputy police commissioner Akhileswar Singh said: "We are investigating all angles. We hope to be able to nab the culprits soon."

Nirjara had gone out in a hurry after receiving a call on his cell phone around 9.30pm on Sunday. But he did not return home, his father had stated in his complaint.
