Children take part in a roller-skating event at the Patha Utsav in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
The students of Odisha Skating Academy displayed their skills at the festival. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and the Bhubaneswar Development Authority jointly organise the weekly street festival on every Sunday.
A group of 12 students from College of Charleston, South Carolina, USA, had a tryst with the Kalinga architecture and traditional Odissi dance at the Ekamra Walks, the weekly heritage tour of Bhubaneswar, which is also organised on Sundays.
The 31st edition of the heritage tour turned into a platform of cultural exchange as the international students had the chance to interact with other students and participants. Students from ICICI Academy for Skills, Bhubaneswar, and five members from two leading seafood processing and export firms and an entrepreneur were the other participants.
Crystina, a student of College of Charleston, said: "The old monuments and the architecture have created a long-lasting impression in my mind and the Odissi dance recital by the disciples of Ileana Citaristi was mesmerising."
