State on alert
Bhubaneswar: The state govenrment on Monday issued an alert across Odisha in the wake of a terrorist attack on an army camp in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. “Though there is no specific intelligence input for the state, we do not want to take any chances. We have tightened security arrangements at the airport, bus stands, railway stations and vital installations in the coastal region,” director general of police K.B. Singh said.
Labour meet
Bhubaneswar: The two-day national labour conference will kick off on Tuesday. The event is being jointly organised by the state labour department and the International Labour Organisation.

Berhampur: The GRP on Monday claimed to have busted a train robbery gang with the arrest of three persons at Chhatrapur in Ganjam.
