Bhubaneswar: Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati on Sunday demanded a white paper on repair of the Jagamohan of the Jagannath temple in Puri. Nischalananda Saraswati said: “The State government is not giving due importance to the repair work of the inner sanctum sanctorum.”

Body found

Bhubaneswar:  A man's body was found in a pond at Balarampur village in Baliapala of Balasore district on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Renta Murmu of Balarampur village. Sources said Murmu had gone to Benga Jena's house in the village around 4am on Sunday to consume country-made liquor.

Deaths

Bhubaneswar: Three persons were killed when the dumper in which they were travelling lost control and overturned near Dalamkucha on the Kaleiposa-Barasuan road under Lahunipada police limits in Sundargarh district on Saturday night. The deceased have been identified as Santosh Mohanta, Saheb Mohanta and Sukru Mohanta of Sukhapalli village.
