New projects 

Berhampur:  Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday visited Gajapati and Ganjam districts and dedicated a number of development projects to the people. Naveen first reached Paralakhemundi in Gajapati and unveiled various projects there. He also inaugurated a new collector's office, and a maternal and childcare centre there. He also laid foundation stone for a kalyan mandap and a town hall in B. Sitapur during his visit to the district.  

Bank jab

Bhubaneswar: Union minister of state for petroleum and natural gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday came down heavily on the state government for blaming the Centre for lack of adequate bank branches in Odisha. He said there were 20,000 SBI branches along with banking correspondents and ATMs in the state.
