Black flags

Puri: Food supplies and consumer welfare minister Sanjay Das Burma was shown black flags by members of the youth wing of Odisha Congress at Piridipur on Puri-Satapada Road on Sunday. Das Burma said it was an act of goons.  Cops detained the youth Congress president for protesting the minister and blocking his road.

Godown fire 

Balasore: A fire broke out at a shoe godown at Kumbharpara on Sunday morning. No casualties have been reported. Four fire tenders were deployed. It took around four hours to douse the fire.
