Naveen directive
Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday directed the police to install closed-circuit television cameras in Cuttack. Naveen also also directed the police to arrest the goons involved in the robbery from the residence of former Orissa High Court judge as soon as possible.

Sunstroke toll
n Bhubaneswar: Sunstroke death toll in the state has increased to 26. Out of the 131 alleged cases deaths due to sunstroke, a probe has been done into 59 cases. It revealed that 33 deaths had taken place due to other reasons.
Manhunt
Bhubaneswar: Police are on a manhunt to nab the three goons involved in the Ajay Kumar assault case. Raids are being conducted at many places in this regard.
Niramaya aid
Bhubaneswar: The state government on Monday claimed that as many as 4.4 lakh beneficiaries had taken assistance of Niramaya, the free medicine distribution scheme, which was launched on May 2. A health department official said the programme would be extended to 27 sub-divisional hospitals by June end.
Gang busted
Balasore: Police on Monday arrested six members of a motorcycle-lifting gang and recovered 22 motorcycles from them. Some of them bore registration numbers of Bengal.
