Bhubaneswar: The state government has directed Biju Patnaik University of Technology to probe into the alleged irregularities in the conduct of examinations and evaluation of answer sheets at College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, and Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang.
Tourism plan
Bhubaneswar: The state government on Friday decided to form a special planning authority for the development of Talasari, Chandaneswar and Bhusandeswar. At a meeting chaired by chief minister Naveen Patnaik, it was decided to include development of 36 villages under the authority to ensure better tourism infrastructure.

Bhubaneswar: Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology on Friday began a probe into the citizenship of one of its professors. The professor, who has been serving at the university for the past nine years, has allegedly been discovered to be a Bangladeshi infiltrator.
Agreement
Bhubaneswar: The state government has signed an agreement
with a private company for setting up a semiconductor laboratory in Bhubaneswar. The government and Software Technology Park of India would bear the establishment cost. The remaining costs would be born by the private firm.
