Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Beverage Corporation on Friday recommended the cancellation of licences of United Breweries Group, SAB Miller India, Carlsberg Group, MP Beer Products Private Limited and Dewan Breweries who did not comply with the government’s directive to reduce the prices of Indian and foreign liquor.

Bhubaneswar: Former minister Anand Acharya passed away on Friday. He was 77. He was a minister from 2000 to 2004.
