Festivities at Delhi Public School, Kalinga

Students of Delhi Public School, Kalinga, bagged won the Saevus Eco Achievers Quiz at the national finale in Mumbai on February 11. Class-V student Debaprava Sharma, Class-VI student Sachit Patnaik and Sovit Soumyakant Behera of Class VII beat off competition from 1,200 schools from across the country to win the first prize.
 
Parents’ day

The annual parents’ day celebration of the primary section of Delhi Public School, Kalinga, was held on Saturday amid an atmosphere of merriment. Principal Anuradha Rakshit extended a cordial welcome to the gathering. Trustee Mala Mishra drew attention to how the school creates a platform for children to let them discover their talents and tap their potentials, thus nurturing their individuality. 

Science expo

Odisha Madhyamik Sikshya Mission organised a two-day state-level science exhibition at Capital High School. Scientist Vivek Kumar advised students to innovate for a new world. Fourteen students have been selected to take part in the national-level exhibition in Delhi.

Clean culture

Modern Public School organised its annual event “Modernity” and annual quiz “Quest” recently. Students from more than 20 schools took part in the quiz. Successful student achievers were awarded on the occasion.

Elocution

Kasish Raghubansi and Sushri Ankit of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, secured first position in the state-level elocution competition in English and Odia respectively. . They received awards from governor S.C. Jamir during an Anti-Leprosy Day event at Raj Bhavan recently.
