Imphal, Nov. 16: Dimdaijang Youth Club today came up with a one goal win against Reangjang Youth Club in the 8th Jadonang Football Tournament organised by the Zeliangrong Football Association at Thangmeiband Athletic Union ground.

In another match, Khoupum Toadaijang overcame Guigailong by 2-1 goals.

Guigailong started off with Phillips Panmei finding the net. Sajingam Rongmei of the Khoupum Taodaijang team scored the equaliser in the 21st minute.

Ragailong XI blanked Kakhulong Football Association 3-0 in another match. Lucky, Robert and Lanzaigai were the goal scorers for Ragailong. Langthabal Chingthak and Langthabal Khoupum came to a goalless draw, while Namdailong Youth Club and Namthanpung Youth Club came to a 1-1 draw.

Kabaddi trophy

Manipur Police Sports Club today lifted the trophy of the 37th L. Indrajeet Men’s State Kabaddi Championship at Patsoi in Imphal West.

Manipur Police defeated SAI RC by 65-24 points for the title. SAI RC player N. Naobi Singh was named the Best Player in the championship.

In the senior women’s event, SAI RC grabbed the title while Imphal East fetched the runners-up title. Ch. Naobi Devi of SAI RC got the Best Player title.
