Kakoli in final

Guwahati: Defending champion Kakoli Lahkar of Assam reached the final of the national sub-junior ranking table tennis meet in Baroda. She would meet a Maharashtra player in the final on Wednesday, said Assam Table Tennis Association secretary A. Ahmed. She claimed the title in the previous edition in Gurgaon in December.

Guwahati: The second phase National Games coaching camp of the Assam handball probables began at New Field here on Monday. The team for the senior nationals, beginning January 24 in Bhilai, will be selected from the camp. Altogther 17 girls are attending the camp.
