Guwahati: The hearing on the petition filed by former Assam Cricket Association secretary Abdul Matin in Gauhati High Court will continue on Wednesday. Matin?s petition challenged the ACA?s January 22 elections in Karimganj. The court of Justice D. Biswas on Tuesday heard ACA counsel R.P. Sharma and the petitioner?s counsel Arup Borbora and decided to continue the hearing for a second day.

Volleyball meet

Guwahati: The all-Assam junior inter-district volleyball meet will be organised by the Bongaigaon District Sports Association under the banner of Assam Volleyball Association at Gandhi Maidan in Bongaigaon from March 10 to 12. Altogether 20 district teams are expected to take part in the meet.
