ACA refund

Guwahati: The Assam Cricket Association will refund the money to those who had procured tickets for the ODI between India and England from 11am at Judges Field from Monday to Wednesday. The tickets will have to be produced in original.

Guwahati: State archer Hemanta Basumatary has set a new national record and won the gold in the 30-metre recurve event in the 31st Junior National Archery Championship under way at Jamshedpur. Basumatary on Friday scored 352 points out of 360, upsetting the previous record of 351 points held by Jayanta Talukdar.

Fed Cup

Guwahati: Oil India Limited (OIL), Duliajan, will kick off its league campaign in the 30th Federation Cup Soccer Tournament main round, facing Mohun Bagan on December 11. The main round will begin on December 4 in Calcutta and Barasat simultaneously. OIL are pitted against with Mohun Bagan, Air India and Dempo in Group D.

GSA camp

Guwahati: The Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) will hold a selection camp at Nehru Stadium here on Monday to prepare the Guwahati team for the women’s inter-district cricket championship for the Javed Khan Trophy to be held in Dibrugarh.
