Imphal, March 18: Singjamei Polo Club will face Manipur Police Sports Club (B) in the final of the 22nd Governor’s Cup Invitation Polo Tournament on Tuesday at Imphal polo ground.
The semi-finals yesterday saw Singjamei Polo Club upsetting Manipur Police Sports Club by 2-1 goals.
As the score remained tied, an extra chukker was added with Singjamei Polo Club securing the game with golden goal from M. Doren Singh en route to the final.
In the other match, Manipur Police Sports Club (B) dethroned Khurai Polo Club by 3-2 goals.
Bodoland Premier League: The T-20 Bodoland Premier League Cricket tournament kicked off at DN Himatsinha ground in Kokrajhar. In the inaugural match between Samaj Kalyan Yuva Sangha, Magurmari defeated Rajdhani Club, Kadamtola by 65 runs.
Nur Alam Sheikh was Man of the Match.
