Agartala, Nov. 9: A team of Tripura police, led by additional superintendent of police Sharmishtha Chakraborty, busted a sex racket last night and arrested 34 youths, including 16 girls, from three restaurants.

These are Tring, Abba and Samba at Advisor Chowmuhuni in the heart of Agartala town.

The accused, including two restaurant owners, Madan Debbarma and Debasish Bhattacharya, were produced in the court of judicial magistrate (first class) Anindita Debroy. The owner of the third restaurant Samba is absconding. The accused will be produced in court on November 13.

They have been charged with running illegal sex dens.
