Imphal, Nov. 18: Sagolband United lifted the champion’s title of the 15th M. Chittamani Singh Memorial Winner’s Cup, defeating All-Moirang Football Association 3-0 at Langjing Achouba ground.

Karatekas lauded: Medal winning karatekas of the Kanglei Sports Academy, who bagged nine gold, three silver and a bronze in the 1st North India Budokan Karate National Championship in Shimla from October 29-31 were feted by the academy.

Lajong players: Four players from Shillong Lajong’s under-15 team were selected to travel to Germany for a two-week Bayern Munich camp to be held later next year, reports our correspondent from Shillong.

The players are Donborlang Nongkynrih, Jacob Lalrawngbawla, Suman Rai and Sonam Chettri.
