Kokrajhar, Aug. 11: Rising Club today defeated Serenja Sports Club 7-1 in an A-division league match of the Kokrajhar District Sports Association (KDSA) inter-club soccer league at the KDSA ground here.

Rising dominated the game from the very beginning, scoring four goals in the first half and three more in the second half.

Though the struggling Serenja boys managed to score a lone goal in the second half, the scoreboard read 7-1 at the final whistle, sealing the match in favour of Rising.

Tomorrow, Dwitun Sports Club play Sikhna Club.
