Ranking tennis
Guwahati, Dec. 21: Ankit Kashyap, Priyana Kalita and Arnabjan Lahkar will vie for double honours in the Glaxo SmithKline-NETF All-Assam Ranking Tennis Championship at the North East Tennis Foundation courts here tomorrow.
While Ankit and Arnabjan will clash in the under-14 and under-18 boys’ singles finals, Priyana has booked berths in the under-14 and under-18 girls’ singles finals. Ronit Bora will meet Pratyush J. Poddar in the under-12 boys’ singles final.
Dipak Das and Amlandeep Das today lifted the veteran’s doubles above-55 years title beating Subhash Goswami and Pratul Phukan 9-3 in the single-setter final.

OIL tourney
The Oil India All Assam Junior Tennis Tournament will be held under the aegis of Zaloni Club in Duliajan on its courts from January 19 to 23.
The tournament, sponsored by Oil India Limited (OIL), will be held for boys’ under-12, u-14 and and u-18 singles and under-14 and u-18 singles for girls. All winners will be awarded with scholarships. An organising committee has been formed with Apurba Kumar Sarma as chairman, Sanjiv Kumar Pegu as organising secretary, Kalyan K. Das as tournament director and Manash Mahanta as chief referee.
Inter-school meet: Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre will organise the Nabin Chandra Tamuly inter-school cricket tournament at Nehru Stadium from January 15.
