Guwahati, Nov. 28: Pragjyotish College posted an eight-run win over Gauhati Commerce College today in their 5th All Assam Lauhapurush Premoda Kanta Sarma inter-college cricket tournament group league match at Latasil ground here.

Electing to bat, Pragjyotish made 111 in 19.1 overs, while the Commerce College boys managed 103 in 19.4 overs. Apart from Ali, Govinda Rajbongshi scored 25 and Dheemanjyoti Das 14. Mriganka Boruah of Commerce hauled four wickets.

Dheemanjyoti was named Man of the Match.
