Dibrugarh, Dec. 16: The Dibrugarh University Inter-College Weightlifting, Body-building (men) and Powerlifting (men & women) competition, which begun on Sibsagar College premises yesterday, is going on at full swing.

Pabitra Gogoi of Bir Lachit Borphukon College bagged the Best Physique title and was also awarded the Mr Dibrugarh University, 2009 title.

Some of the results of weightlifting at the end of the day are:

56kg: Dip Jyoti Kachari of Furkating College, Golaghat, 132kg, Pankaj Neog of SPP College, Namti, 97kg, Biki Khanikar of SMD College, Charing, 88kg.

62kg: Papul Changmai of Moridhal College, Dhemaji, 217kg, Kamal Bora of Furkating College, 115kg.

69kg: Sourav Gogoi of Sibsagar College 185kg, Bhaskar Jyoti Borpatra Gohain of JHNS College, Jhanji 140kg and Domboru Mech of Furkating College 138kg.

77kg: Dinuj K. Gogoi of Moridhal College 167kg, Dip Saikia of Khowang College 152kg and Monuj K. Nath of Furkating College 105kg.

85kg: Sanjib Gogoi of Furkating College 145 kg and Dhurba Gogoi of Sibsagar College 109kg.

94kg: Purba Jyoti Phukon of Sibsagar College, 85kg.

105kg: Champak Dutta of Sibsagar College 195kg and Bikash Phukon of Furkating College 105kg.
