Hyundai Motor India Limited recently launched its latest car, the Santro Xing, in Guwahati.

The “ready-for-Europe sunshine car” sports distinctive styling and meets all current safety norms. The Santro Xing comes with a new-look exterior and new-feel interior styling. Coupled with advanced features, it claims to offer the best comfort and luxury in this car segment.

The other hallmarks of the sunshine car are bigger, brighter and clearer headlamps, a “smiling” radiator grille, power-operated rear windows with child lock and lots of other smart features like seat undertray.

Its stunning design includes an aerodynamic bodyline and large sporty tail lamps. The plush new interiors come with a cushy three-spoke steering, new instrument clusters, front and rear power windows and luxurious new upholstery.

Many of the features of the Santro Xing are new, improved and innovative, combining a fresh new attitude of fun, warmth and sunshine with comfort, convenience and dependability that the Santro has always been known for.

The Santro Xing comes in five variants: XE, XP, XG, XS and AT and ranging in price between Rs 3,42,412 and Rs 4,42,744.

Stainless clothes

The new Surf Excel automatic detergent powder, a product of Hindustan Lever Limited, was recently introduced in the market here. It works differently on different stains as each stain needs a different treatment. The detergent automatically tackles a wide range of tough stains like chocolate, ketchup and ink more effectively. It is also being touted as the “specialist washing powder” for any washing machine. The new Surf Excel automatic is the “complete” cleaning detergent powder and is available in a 600 gm box containing 30 sachets and in a 1 kg pack. They cost Rs 70 and Rs 135 respectively.

Be a “freshetarian” with Samsung I-Cool in summer. Samsung Electronics’ I-Cool refrigerators with revolutionary new “twin shower cooling” technology are now available in the Northeast.

The new I-Cool technology is the result of exhaustive research into the cooling patterns in a refrigerator environment. A 100-gram and 400-gram pack of Alpine Dew and Moon Drop cost Rs 25 and Rs 60 respectively and the same quantity packs of Real Sandal costs Rs 28 and Rs 73 respectively.
