Kokrajhar, April 24: With just a day left for the swearing-in ceremony of second executive council of Bodoland Territorial Council on Monday, hectic preparations are on at Bodoland Secretariat Field, Bodofa Nwgwr here.

A huge pandal with a capacity for 10,000 guests has been erected. The district administration is working round-the-clock for smooth conduct of the function. Security forces have stepped up vigil.

Assam Governor J.B. Patnaik is scheduled to attend the function and administer the oath of office and secrecy to the councillors in the presence of chief minister Tarun Gogoi. Meghalaya Governor R.S. Mooshahary is also scheduled to attend as the guest of honour.
