Imphal, May 3: SAI RC archer P. Lily Devi grabbed four gold in the women’s compound event in the 20th Senior State Archery Championship held at Palace Compound in Imphal East.
In the 30-metre compound event, P. Lily scored 346 points for the gold, while in the 50-metre event, she tallied 325 points for the win.
In the 60-metre event she garnered 340 points for her third gold and in 70-metre event, Lily collected 334 points for her fourth gold.
In the women’s Indian round, Pravahini Devi took the gold. The other gold medalists in the women’s recurve events are H. Rajpriya Devi (30-metre, 50-metre and 60-metre), P. Binita Devi (70-metre).
In the Indian round for men’s, Ch. Shamuyai took the gold in the 50-metre event while Th. Sanatomba Singh won the gold in the 30-metre event.
In the men’s compound event, M. Anupam took two gold in the 50 and 70-metre events, while Samurai Khuda fetched the gold in the 90-metre event.
T. Michael won two gold medals in the men’s 70 and 90-metre recurve events, while H. Bidyajit took home the 50-metre gold and the 30-metre gold went to L. Rajesh Singh.
