Guwahati, July 2: Shark, Kangaroo and Rhino teams registered victories in their respective matches of the sixth City Premier League at Janata Bhawan ground here today.

In the first match, Shark defeated Cobra by 13 runs. Shark put up 114 runs for the loss of four wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.

Sanjib Barman topscored with 44 runs while Meet Rajkumar and Dipak Kumar bagged a wicket each.

In reply, Shark batsmen were bundled out for 101 runs in their stipulated overs. Deepak Singh scored 44 runs.

Kangaroo got the better of Lion by 37 runs in the second match. Kangaroo put up a total of 128 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

Aryaman Tiwari topscored with 68 runs.

Lion boys were all out for 91 runs in their regular overs.

Rhino edged past Bull in the last match of the day.
