I believe in singing from the heart — whether it is playback, stage shows or jingles, I believe in giving it my best shot. Moreover, I am open to new ideas and like to experiment. Singing for a jingle was a part of my experiments with music. Besides, Sonu Nigam, Adnan Sami or Shaan — the biggies of playback singing — had all sung a number of popular jingles during the initial phase of their careers. In a way, jingles hone a singer’s skills for playback.

Right now, I am back on the sets of Zee TV Bangla’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa for the second edition of the programme. Once the shooting gets over, I plan to come down to my native land and work on few of my dream musical assignments.
