Guwahati, Dec. 19: Janashree Saikia and Lenien Jamir will vie for double honours in the 23rd All Assam Junior Ranking Tennis Championship at North East Tennis Foundation courts here tomorrow.

In the semi-finals played today, both Janashree and Lenien set up a final clash with each other in the under-14 and under-18 girls' singles.

In the under-14 round of four, Janashree defeated Raina Zaffer 6-2, 6-4, while Lenien eased past Baishali B. Bora 6-2, 6-0.

In under-18, Lenien was leading 6-3, 4-1 when opponent Raina Zaffer conceded the match with an injury and Janashree beat Baishali B. Bora 6-1, 6-1.

In the boys' under-18, Manas Kuli will meet Jugal Baruah in the final. Manas got the better of Debashis Medhi 6-2, 6-3 and Jugal prevailed over Arith Bhuyan 6-2, 6-1.

Debashish, however, booked an under-14 final berth against Arith Bhuyan, defeating Jihsnu Baruah 6-3, 6-3. Arith humbled Kaushik J. Bora 6-0, 6-4.

In the under-12 boys' singles, Anurag Buragohain will lock horns with Dabanga P. Hazarika in the final. In the semis today, Anurag handed a 6-2, 6-2 defeat to Arunanan Choudhary and Dabanga beat Promit Bordoloi 6-3, 6-3.
