Guwahati, Aug. 23: Young budding entrepreneurs can look forward to a golden opportunity to interact with industry experts at the industrial conclave during Techniche-2015, the annual techno management festival of the Indian IIT Guwahati.
Techniche-2015 with take place on the institute's campus in North Guwahati from September 3 to 6. The Industrial Conclave this year will focus on discussions on the stock market and entrepreneurship. Through interactive sessions, aspiring entrepreneurs can look forward to receiving valuable information on ways to develop their managerial and technical skills so that they can become successful in their chosen filed.
As part of the event, the institute will conduct the Guwahati half marathon on August 30. Amit Kr. Saroha, an Arjuna awardee and a para-athletics coach for Haryana sports department, will be present on the occasion.
"The theme of this edition of marathon is Unity Run for Peace, which reflects the necessity of improving the standards of our future. The event starts with the professional's marathon of 21km-run in the morning from the Sonaram High School Field, followed by the 6km-run where the public can participate," said L. Konwar, public relations officer of IIT Guwahati.
"Like every year, this time too we are organising a three-day industrial conclave as part of Techniche-2015.The conclave will focus on the stock market and economic aspect. There will be interactive sessions featuring entrepreneurs of the country who are successfully running companies. These sessions are important because participants will be able to access first-hand information on how they can take advantage of different market situations to become successful entrepreneurs. There will also be a session on the stock exchange," said Prabin, a third-year engineering student of IIT Guwahati.
"This time, we are expecting about 1,500 participants in the industrial conclave from across the country. This conclave is open to all and anyone who wishes to participate in it can register himself on our website," said Prabin.
